It turns out that the Slovakian news article that used my picture was just a translation of this article which is about a woman wanting a kidney transplant.

Um. Let's take a look at the picture in question:

Uh.

Not much to do about kidney transplants. I guess it just looked enough like one that they figured "well, good enough."

As some of you know, I have a Flickr account. I put up pictures on there from time to time, and license them so anyone can use them as long as they credit me.

I kind of assumed that no one would ever use my pictures, but I was apparently wrong.

An excerpt from the site: Voľba, ktorú rieši štyridsaťročná Austrálčanka Vicki Pascualová, je len ťažko predstaviteľná, píšu austrálske noviny The Sunday Telegraph. Buď môže riskovať smrť a čakať, kým sa pre ňu nájde vhodná ľadvina k transplantácii v Austrálii, alebo môže odletieť na Filipíny, a tam si legálne ľadvinu kúpiť - pravdepodobne od niektorého z miestnych chudobných obyvateľov.

The only catch with that last one is that I don't understand any of that site, and I can't seem to be able to find a translator.
